Technology has advanced a lot in the past 20+ years. The latest SHF and true bone carving figures are nearly perfect in design, so there\u2019s really no need to build Rider models anymore \u2013 you can buy beautifully detailed ones for just a few hundred dollars. However, old-school model figures still have a certain charm, and these hollow plastic figures offer more of a challenge. I\u2019ve always felt that as a Rider fan, I should at least make a Shadow Moon figure once in my life. I had to recreate it using SketchUp and found someone on Taobao to 3D print it for 30 HKD.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\" data-block-type=\"core\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kudezign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Shadow-moon-making-of-04-1536x1536.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-a4c0c5a\" data-block-id=\"a4c0c5a\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Gaia 123 \u30d6\u30e9\u30a4\u30c8\u30b7\u30eb\u30d0\u30fc\u3092\u5857\u308b\u524d\u306b\u3001\u307e\u305a032 \u30a6\u30eb\u30c6\u30a3\u30e1\u30a4\u30c8\u30d6\u30e9\u30c3\u30af\u3067\u4e0b\u5730\u3092\u5857\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u3053\u308c\u306b\u3088\u308a\u3001\u30b7\u30eb\u30d0\u30fc\u304c\u3088\u308a\u8c4a\u304b\u306a\u898b\u305f\u76ee\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\" data-block-type=\"core\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kudezign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Shadow-moon-making-of-06-1536x1536.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-777ffd2\" data-block-id=\"777ffd2\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since the sword wraps around the figure\u2019s hand and can\u2019t be disassembled for painting, I painted the main body first, then crafted the hilt.
