Polytrade paper guide box remade.
This is the latest paper guide from Polytrade, however, the puller was broken months ago, and this black elastic band is not looking premium enough, therefore, DIY time! This string is very fragile and quite hard to pull the drawer out. I removed the elastic band and the front face of the front panel of drawer, gonna replace with a piece of wood scrap and the little handle that bought from a small shop in Tokyo (http://bonboni.net) Dye the wood with BRIWAX, this time I use teak color. In a single bedroom apartment, it’s quite challenging to put a digital piano into a tiny living room, I end up need to sacrifice the TV cabinet, however, I lose the storage area, in addition, there is plenty of space wasted under the piano, therefore I came up with an idea to use wine crates to fill up those empty spaces. Transform Plain Drawers
Recently I bought two plain drawers from Jusco living plaza, HK$12 each, dirty cheap, but the outlook were so boring, but just because it is so plain, it have potential and vest possibility to reshape it, I would like to transform them into a antique looking drawers, so, DIY time 🙂 This is the original drawer, how plain it is! Get rid of the ugly handle, I will use a metal button to replace it. Create the score lines around the drawer, in order to give it more details. Apply Danish oil before installing the handle. Leather Wallet
My old wallet was 7 years old, it was so damaged already, planned to buy a new one, but can’t find any ideal size and thickness, therefore, DIT time! Cut the leather in piece, wallet is relatively easy in structure. Dyed in orange, the same color of my briefcase. I used the plastic file as the dividers. Glue all the piece together, after some sewing work, basically it’s done. Done!

Vox Amp Handle
Recently I bought a great amp, Vox Mini 5 Rhythm, I like it not because of the premium sound quality, but the all in one feature, it’s included guitar effects and drum machine, very handy to practice along the beats with different effect. However, the original handle looks very crappy, and it can’t put all the way down, it became the obstacle when I turning the knobs. Therefore, DIY time! This is the original handle, so ugly. The new design. I printed it on gridded paper. Carefully cut the circle shape. A lot of punching and threading work!
Apothecary Drawers

IKEA hack: Laptop stand for my Macbook Air.
I got my new macbook air to replace my old and nearly broken Mac Mini, and now I need a laptop stand. The only criteria is I need to work in dual monitor environment in some situation like copy and paste text from documents, selecting stock photos and creating artwork at the same time, but after the work done it can become single monitor again, that’s mean my Macbook Air could be folded and hidden somewhere. DIY industrial pipe shelves
Inspired from a lot of places like Etsy, Pinterest and Google image search, it’s time to create my own industrial pipe shelves! In Hong Kong, the pipes and elbow are easy to find, but the wood and flanges are impossible, therefore I ordered them from Amazon and eBay. The 1st thing to do is assembly the pipes and measure the length. Cut the big holes and let pipes goes in. Using jigsaw to cut one of the board shorter. Done.
